I was complaining about my depression to my mom and my sister asked me what depression is. She’s two, so I told her it’s like your head has a boo boo and needs help getting better. She held up her hands, told me to wait and then ran into the kitchen and came back out with a band aid. She stuck it on my forehead, kissed me and told me she’d help my head feel better.
